Workplace alternatives

As of 31st August 2025, Meta will be closing the Workplace platform to focus on building AI and Metaverse technologies.

 

Workplace has been a useful platform for companies with front-line workers. It has enabled an easy way for users to communicate, collaborate, access information, and foster engagement. But it’s not the only tool which offers these features, and we’re here to help you find a new long-term alternative solution to suit your business needs.

 

The good news is Workplace will retain full functionality until 31st August 2025, and even after this date you will be able to access the platform (for free) to download your data in a read-only format until 1st June 2026. Your data will then be permanently deleted.

 

So, this gives you time to source an alternative solution and begin migration of your data, ready to launch a new platform before the shutdown date.
